Have you done NanoWriMo before? It sounds like the kind of thing you would do. :heart:
I'm ankle-deep in about 20,000 words of young adult, science fiction, kick-ass crappy character development! WHOOT!
No, really, it's a lot o fun and I think I'm onto something great. I got Kyoukenbyou to do it, too. :heart: What have you been up to lately? Planning any visits back here? For some reason I was just thinking about you, so I thought I'd drop you a comment, yo! >.<

I've done NaNo the last couple of years, but never got very far with it. I've got one writing project I've been sinking all my writerly attention into instead of the one-month thing. Besides, can't get my inner editor to shut up enough to do more than a few pages at a time. XD

Well, I just moved into my own place last week; I'm trying to secure some internet there so I don't have to find handy 'net cafes open at the same ridiculous and erratic hours I keep, which is more than a teensy bit difficult. No visits planned for this year... couldn't afford to, sadly. Maybe sometime near the middle or end of next year, if I can save up enough cash. How's you?

ugh, I know about weird hours. Thomas and I are a couple of Vampires (AKA working overnights for the evil corporation that is Target).
I should have my substitute teaching license in a couple weeks; Pickens wants me to sub for her all the time. >.< I can't wait!
Other than that I'm just dreaming of advertising schemes for my book, so I can self-publish (snicker, snort, epic fail) and become the greatest and most popular writer of all time...riiiiight?
Did you know in the US a novel is published every 10 miniutes!? The chances are absolutely insane! I don't write incredibly detailed work....kinda more on the comical side, really. Well I think I'm funny. (Hard to put an emphasis on "I" on the internets, since capitalizing it does nothing. I! I! IIII!)
Ok, I just worked all night and I'm off to write at least 3000 words today. Hence, I have lost my freakin' mind. Yay!
Anywho, I hope we see you again sometime! Miiiiiis you! :heart:

I thought you were going to go to Korea and teach English? Or did that already happen?

(Every ten minutes? Heh, explains how Smeyer got published then...) With enough hard work and preserverence, anyone can succeed, I imagine. That's why I'm still working nights at a gas station: I get paid well and I'm lazy. Good luck, though! NaNo is no project to sneeze at!

yeah, Korea will happen after Thomas graduates. Another year and a half, maybe?
